Using Digital Cameras to Hunt Ghosts
If you are interested in capturing images of ghosts on film then one of the best tools you can use is the digital camera. The camera doesn't need to be fancy or expensive. A point and shoot may be a perfect camera for hunting ghosts. Many ghost hunters say they have had luck with lower end cameras. Lower end means less bells and whistles but make sure it doesn't skimp on megapixels. You'll want one with at least 4 megapixels. There is always the possibility that you will capture something on film and need to blow up the image. The more megapixels you have the clearer the image will be as you enlarge the picture. Another thing to have is an extra battery. Sometimes as ghosts manifest themselves they are known to draw energy from any source possible. If your camera is the only source around then your battery will die. Having extra batteries will allow you to continue snapping pictures. Also, bring an extra picture card. Take as many pictures as you want and if you fill your card you can simply replace it with your spare. One final word about taking pictures of ghosts. Many people capture images of orbs (small balls of light). Some believe orbs are evidence of spirits but more often than not they are simply dust or bugs flying through the air. |
